On February 19, 2008, Sharon Cole, age 33, was fatally shot while riding in a car at the intersection of 3rd and Paul Streets in the Hunters Point neighborhood of San Francisco. The incident took place around 1 p.m., and authorities believe it was likely linked to the ongoing violence in the area.
