Tauvares Wooten

On March 9, 2008, Tauvares Wooten, a 17-year-old resident of San Francisco, was shot and killed in the Bayview-Hunters Point district. The incident occurred near the intersection of Silver and Revere avenues around 11:40 a.m. Wooten had just exited a local store when he was shot multiple times. He was transported to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
