Cecil Spicer was killed on May 25, 1970, in Dayton, Ohio. His case remains unsolved and has been one of the region's long-standing mysteries. Spicer was found dead in Dayton, located in Montgomery County, and his death was determined to be a homicide. Despite the efforts of the Dayton Police Department and later involvement by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI), the investigation did not yield sufficient leads to bring anyone to justice for his killing.
