On August 17, 1980, 27-year-old Anthony Witcher was fatally shot while walking along the sidewalk near 889 Oak Street in Columbus, Ohio. Little information has surfaced over the decades about the details surrounding his murder, and the case remains one of Columbus's many unsolved homicides.
