On November 20, 1981, James Allen, a 44-year-old clerk at Portage News, an adult bookstore in Streetsboro, Ohio, was brutally beaten and stabbed to death. The incident occurred at 9291 State Route 14. The attacker stole money from the cash register and coins from the video machines. Additionally, James Allen's car was taken from the scene but was later found abandoned about a mile away. Despite these clues, the motive remains unclear, and the case has remained unsolved.
