Kathleen Mechlin, a 21-year-old resident of Grove City, Ohio, was tragically killed on February 10, 1984. Police responded to a call at 4226 Broadway in Grove City after a reported burglary. The call was made by Kathleen's husband, who claimed that an unknown person had entered their home and assaulted Kathleen. She sustained severe injuries during the incident and passed away a few days later as a result of those injuries.
