On July 26, 1987, Gladys Taylor, a 54-year-old woman, was found dead in her home on Miltwood Road in Columbus, Ohio. She had suffered a fatal gunshot wound. The incident occurred while she was in her residence, and her husband found her upon his return home from a church service that evening at around 10 p.m. At the time, she was also home with a 10-year-old relative. No suspects were immediately identified by the authorities, and the case remains unsolved.
