Any updates on this case?
On August 22, 2008, 47-year-old Samuel J. Mitchell was fatally shot in San Francisco. The incident took place at approximately 12:06 a.m. in front of 3173 26th Street in the Mission District. Witnesses reported seeing a suspect standing over Mitchell while shooting him before fleeing east towards Harrison Street. Despite the immediate response by local authorities, no arrests have been made in connection with the murder, and the case remains unsolved.
