On December 20, 1996, Michael Bollman, an employee at the Car Corral used car lot, was tragically shot and killed in Northwood, Ohio. The incident took place at 230 Earl Street. At around 12:20 p.m., the Northwood Police Department responded to a call from the car lot owner stating that Bollman had been found shot to death inside the office.
