Victor Cipriano, aged 22, was shot and killed on November 23, 2008, near the intersection of 22nd Street and Valencia in San Francisco's Mission District. The area was experiencing a high level of violence at that time, contributing to the alarming homicide count in the Mission neighborhood. Victor's death was part of the ongoing crisis of gun violence that disproportionately affected young residents of the city.
Despite investigation efforts, the homicide remains unsolved, and
Victor’s case has since become a cold case. The San Francisco Police Department continues to seek information to bring closure to his family. As with many cold cases, a reward of up to $250,000 has been offered for tips that can lead to an arrest and conviction. Community members are urged to come forward with any information they may have that could help resolve the case.
