Delmond "Blackbird" Carter, aged 31, was shot and killed on May 15, 2010, in San Francisco, California. The incident occurred in the early morning hours while Carter was fixing a car in a parking lot located at LaSalle and Ingalls Streets in the Bayview-Hunters Point neighborhood. The suspect(s) responsible for his murder remain unknown, and despite ongoing investigations, no arrests have been made in connection with the case.
