Sadly, Jesus Noriega-Mejia and other members of his family did not survive the incident.

The flames left over fifty residents homeless, and some survivors, including a woman who jumped from a window, were treated for injuries. There were no known suspects or witnesses, and no one has been held responsible for setting the blaze, despite its devastating impact.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office, along with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, has kept the case open, and Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for any information that could lead to the arrest of those responsible. Despite their efforts, the crime remains unsolved, leaving families like those of young Jesus Noriega-Mejia without closure and seeking justice for their loss. Authorities are actively encouraging anyone with information about the fire to come forward, as even the smallest detail could help solve this cold case and bring peace to the victims' families.
