On September 12, 2004, a tragic fire occurred at the Lincoln Park West Apartments located on Lynwood Lane in Columbus, Ohio. The fire, which was ultimately ruled as an arson, took the lives of ten people, including two-year-old Jesus Antonio Noriega-Mejia. The blaze broke out in the early morning hours, quickly engulfing the 24-unit apartment building.
