Juan Francisco Roman, an 18-year-old Latino male, was fatally shot on February 22, 2009, in Long Beach, California. The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m. in the 2600 block of East Anaheim Street. Roman sustained a gunshot wound to the upper torso and was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
