On October 10, 2013, 18-year-old Desmond Fisher was shot and killed in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred around 1 p.m. at 996 Miller Avenue. According to witness accounts, Desmond was sitting on the porch of a house when several individuals approached suddenly and opened fire at close range. A woman who lived in the home stated that Desmond had stopped by to borrow some rubbing alcohol. She went inside to retrieve it, and shortly after, she heard four to five gunshots.
