Johnathan Rogers, aged 21, was fatally shot on January 22, 2014, in Dayton, Ohio. The incident took place at approximately 10:20 p.m. on Demphle Avenue. Rogers was found with a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to Miami Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival. His death marked the third homicide in Dayton for that year.
