Jeremiah Franklin, aged 25, was shot and killed on August 14, 2014, in Columbus, Ohio. The incident took place at 9:13 p.m. in the 2100 block of Riverdale Square East. Columbus police officers responded to the scene following reports of a shooting, and upon arrival, they found Franklin suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save him, Franklin succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
