A man is found dead in his front yard
Leonid Kaplan, a 51-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, was found fatally shot on January 3, 2016. The incident took place at around 7:30 p.m. in the 5800 block of Riverton Road, off McNaughten Road. Columbus Police were dispatched after receiving a report of a man lying in a front yard. Upon arrival, officers discovered Kaplan suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to a local hospital but was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
