Initially, her death was suspected to be the result of a drug overdose; however, the official autopsy revealed that her death was actually a homicide. The coroner's report confirmed that Amy had suffered blunt force trauma to her head, which was inconsistent with a simple fall and indicated that she had been assaulted by another person.
This revelation reclassified her death as a murder, leaving her family shocked and grieving over the brutal circumstances of her passing.
At the time of her death, Amy was a mother and a beloved member of her community. Her family has been actively involved in trying to find answers, conducting their own investigation and speaking to witnesses. Although they have some suspicions about who might be responsible for Amy's death, they do not have the evidence needed to move forward legally. Despite the ongoing efforts of both authorities and her family, Amy's murder remains unsolved, leaving her loved ones without the closure they desperately seek.
