In the late hours of a Thursday in Pueblo, Colorado, the life of 19-year-old Dasan Johnny Slim Halona was tragically cut short. On August 20, 2026, authorities responded to a call in the 600 block of Acero Avenue, near the State Fairgrounds. Upon their arrival at approximately 10 p.m., they discovered Halona had sustained a fatal gunshot wound. This violent incident marked the 11th homicide to occur within the city limits of Pueblo that year, and the 14th countywide, adding to a growing concern ...
