Brandon Corvera, a 22-year-old Hispanic/Latino man, was fatally shot on the evening of July 22, 2026, in the Florence-Firestone area of unincorporated Los Angeles County. The violence unfolded shortly after 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of East 66th Street and Holmes Avenue, south of Gage Avenue and west of Alameda Street.
