On the evening of April 15, 1985, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the life of eight-year-old Shandra Whitehead was tragically cut short. The young black girl was found in her home, having been brutally raped and murdered. The cause of her death was determined to be repetitive blows from a rock and attempted strangulation.
