On the evening of June 19, 2026, a burst of gunfire at a gas station on Cleveland's East 93rd Street shattered the night and ended the life of 49-year-old Carl Formby. When police officers arrived at the scene around 8:30 p.m., they found Formby with gunshot wounds. They administered first aid until emergency medical services arrived and transported him to University Hospitals, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
