In the early morning hours of July 5, 2026, the life of 42-year-old Kristy Syed was tragically cut short in a dirty alley on Milwaukee's south side. Around 1:00 a.m., police responded to reports of shots fired in the 2700 block of S. 10th Street. There, they found Kristy Syed, who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
