On July 24, 2016, 32-year-old David McLendon Jr. was found dead in the University City area of Charlotte, North Carolina. Police discovered McLendon’s body in the 5600 block of Prescott Court, where he had suffered trauma. Investigators quickly concluded that the incident was not a random act of violence.
