In the quiet community of Aynor, South Carolina, the evening of June 5, 2026, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 34-year-old Calvin Smith. A resident of Galivants Ferry, Smith was fatally shot following a heated argument that also left two other individuals injured. The Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner confirmed that Smith succumbed to his injuries at the scene just before 10 p.m.
