In the early morning hours of June 12, 2026, the life of 23-year-old Diego Chavoya Zuniga was tragically cut short in a burst of violence outside a South Gate bar. Zuniga, a young Latino man, was in the 5800 block of Imperial Highway near the entrance of Auggie's Bar & Grill when an altercation erupted.
