On a Saturday afternoon, the bustling parking lot of a north Columbus Kroger became the scene of a tragedy that cut short the life of 18-year-old Aboubacar Fofana. On June 13, 2026, a report of a fight and shots fired sent officers to the 1400 block of Worthington Centre Drive around 3:20 p.m. Upon their arrival, the officers found a chaotic scene with a shell casing on the ground, but the victim was nowhere in sight.
