In the early hours of Sunday, May 10, 2026, the life of 28-year-old Jamez Eduardo Perez Arauz was tragically cut short in Willimantic, Connecticut. Police were dispatched to an apartment on Main Street around 1:45 a.m. following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered Mr. Perez Arauz suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest. Despite the immediate life-saving efforts of the officers and the subsequent arrival of emergency medical services, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
