In the early hours of Saturday, May 16, 2026, the life of 25-year-old Jerome Roshaun Alexander, a Black male, was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire on the West Side of Bridgeport, Connecticut. The fatal shooting occurred shortly after 1 a.m. outside a bar located near the intersection of Beechwood Avenue and Howard Avenue.
