In the early morning hours of March 28, 2026, the quiet community of Wabasso in Vero Beach, Florida, was disturbed by the sound of gunfire. Responding to a call of shots fired around 5:30 a.m., deputies from the Indian River County Sheriff's Office arrived at the 8500 block of 64th Avenue to a grim scene. There, they discovered 79-year-old T H Robertson Taylor suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
