A teenager disappears on her way to work and was later found strangled to death
On March 26, 1985, Jacqueline Martarella, a 19-year-old from Oceanside, New York, went missing while walking to her job at a local Burger King. She was last seen leaving a friend's house, but never made it to work. Nearly a month later, on April 22, her body was discovered at the Woodmere Country Club’s golf course, naked and severely decomposed. Jacqueline had been strangled, and her murder remains unsolved to this day.
