In the late morning of Monday, March 30, 2026, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace in the West Pullman neighborhood on Chicago's Far South Side, leaving a young man's life tragically cut short. Jajauan Thigpen, a 26-year-old resident of the Garfield Park neighborhood, was standing on the 800 block of West 122nd Street when he was ambushed.
