On the evening of April 1, 2026, in Adelanto, California, 33-year-old Elias Justino Alonzo was found shot in a driveway in the 10400 block of Cimmeron Trail Drive. He was rushed to a local hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The incident was one of two fatal shootings that occurred at approximately the same time, prompting a significant investigation by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
