On the evening of April 11, 2026, in Milton, Delaware, 47-year-old Jerry Lee Hall was fatally shot. The incident occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. in the front yard of a residence in the 20000 block of Forest Road. First responders arrived to find Hall suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Delaware State Police quickly identified 62-year-old Myron Savage of Milton as the suspect.
According to the preliminary investigation, Savage approached Hall on foot, shot him several times, and then fled the area on a black, three-wheeled scooter. Law enforcement sought the public's assistance in locating Savage and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
The day after the shooting, on April 12, Myron Savage was taken into custody without incident in Harrington. He was subsequently charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Savage was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court 3 and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $1,060,000 cash bond. The investigation into the homicide remains active, and authorities have asked anyone with additional information to come forward.
