Ryan Simpson, a White male, 19, was shot before dawn on July 22, 2024, in the 14000 block of Collins Street in Milton, Delaware. Troopers responding around 4:47 a.m. found him with a gunshot wound to the upper torso and began lifesaving efforts before he was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. He died of his injuries the next day, July 23, 2024, and authorities formally released his name on July 25.
