In the early hours of Sunday, April 12, 2026, the quiet of a Hesperia, California neighborhood was shattered by a fatal shooting. Responding to a report of gunfire, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department were dispatched to a residence on the 14300 block of Willow Street shortly before 1 a.m. There, they discovered the unresponsive body of Monique Bojorquez, a 31-year-old female resident of Hesperia, lying in the driveway.
