A 20 year old woman's remains are found in a field two days after she vanished
On March 15, 2003, the body of 20-year-old Megan McDonald was found in a field off Bowser Road in Wallkill, New York. She had been beaten to death, with blunt force trauma identified as the cause of death. At the time, McDonald was a student at SUNY Orange County Community College and worked at the Galleria Mall in Middletown. Despite years of investigation, her murder remained unsolved until an arrest was made in 2023, when authorities charged Edward Holley, a former boyfriend, with her murder.
