In the early morning hours of Friday, April 17, 2026, the quiet community of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, was shattered by a tragic event that claimed the life of 49-year-old Buffi Camille Smith. A loving mother and grandmother, Ms. Smith was fatally shot in her Montgomery Township home. Responders arrived at the residence on Montgomery Church Road around 6:36 a.m. to find her suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
