Daniel Jimenez Milian, a 16-year-old male from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, was killed on April 20, 2026, after a confrontation at Leinbach Park turned into a deadly burst of gunfire. What began as a planned fight between two teenage girls drew a crowd of juveniles and young adults to the park, with some there to take part and others reportedly there to watch or record.
