George Jedrey, a 79-year-old man, was found dead on April 22, 2026, inside a home in the Stanwood, Michigan area, near Canadian Lakes in Mecosta County. What began as a welfare check turned into the discovery of a family tragedy after a concerned relative contacted authorities because she had been unable to reach her brother or her parents.
