In Deming, New Mexico, a lengthy manhunt for two fugitives from Indiana came to a violent end on Thursday, April 23, 2026. Cassondra Sauber, a 42-year-old female, was discovered deceased alongside her companion, 44-year-old Joseph McDowell, inside a residence on West Pine Street.
