On a busy Saturday evening, what began as a routine shopping trip for many turned into a scene of violence and tragedy in the parking lot of a Costco in Strongsville, Ohio. Randolph "Randy" E. Corrigan, a 61-year-old employee, was fatally shot on April 25, 2026, after a confrontation with a customer. The incident, which sent shockwaves through the suburban Cleveland community, unfolded just before 6 p.m. when Corrigan approached a man who was attempting to enter the store with a firearm.
