In a quiet trailer park in Farmington, Missouri, the afternoon of Thursday, March 26, 2026, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 61-year-old Michael D. Jenkins. Deputies from the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department and officers from the Farmington Police Department were dispatched to the Walnut Grove Trailer Park in the 3000 block of Miranda Drive around 2:26 p.m. following a report of a shooting.
