On the afternoon of April 7, 2026, a violent encounter in Olivehurst, California, resulted in the death of 47-year-old Octavio Montano Navarro. The incident began shortly before 3 p.m. when the Yuba County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call about a man attempting to force his way into a residence on Fleming Way.
