In the early hours of Tuesday, April 14, 2026, the quiet community of Crimora, Virginia, was disturbed by a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 59-year-old Tony Edward Dooms. Authorities from the Augusta County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to Crimora Station Lane around 1:08 a.m. after receiving a 911 call about a person being shot. Upon their arrival, deputies discovered Mr. Dooms deceased inside his vehicle, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
