In the early evening of Saturday, March 14, 2026, tragedy struck in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, when 20-year-old Ziquan Thomas Parker, a male, was killed in a burst of gunfire. The incident, which unfolded around 5 p.m. on East Raleigh Boulevard near Queens Court, also claimed the life of 46-year-old Ozay Montae Richardson and left a third individual critically injured.
