In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Holly Springs, Mississippi, chaos erupted inside a local establishment, leaving a young man's life cut tragically short. Deandre Jeffries, a 22-year-old man from the Waterford community in Marshall County, was shot and killed on March 15, 2026. The incident occurred between 12:00 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. at CJ's Lounge on North Ida B. Wells Street. Jeffries sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the chest.
