Davion McKinney, 35, a Black man, died on March 15, 2026, after a shooting in Commerce, an industrial city in Los Angeles County. Public reporting indicates deputies were sent that night to the 7700 block of East Slauson Avenue, where they found him suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and the Los Angeles County medical examiner later identified him and ruled the killing a homicide.
