On December 16, 2009, 22-year-old Jabril D. Harper was tragically shot and killed in Buffalo, New York. Harper was kidnapped at gunpoint from the Pine Harbor Apartments by Ernest Green and his accomplices. He was taken to Roosevelt Park, where he was shot twice in the head and left for dead. The motive behind the murder involved robbery, as Harper's assailants stole money, jewelry, and drugs from him before committing the fatal shooting.
