On a late summer evening in Buffalo, New York, the life of 61-year-old Joseph Washington, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On August 28, 2010, Washington was shot in the vicinity of Main Street and Glenwood Avenue. The incident left him in a very serious condition, and he was rushed to Erie County Medical Center for urgent medical attention. Despite the efforts to save him, Joseph Washington passed away a few days later on August 31, 2010.
